i'm moving home and looking for a house. i've spent more time writing short fiction. currently attending a weekly pottery class.

lately i've been watching a lot of 70's and 80's kung fu movies. my taste is still developing, but so far The 36th Chamber of Shaolin and anything with Jackie Chan in it has been great. i've also been watching through Beat Takeshi's filmography and am almost done. my favorite film is Withnail & I.

for music, its too much to list. maintstays lately have been ecm jazz, ambient, and powerpop.

i'm currently reading Guidelines for Mystical Prayer.
